The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, which reads, in particular:

"Dear Nursultan Abishevich,

I was deeply shocked by the tragic news about the crash of military-transport aircraft near Shimkent, which claimed the lives of military servicemen of Border Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.

In this mournful moment we, in Tajikistan, share with you the pain of this heavy loss.

Please, pass our sincere condolences and sympathy on to the relatives and friends of the deceased".
