Telephone report of the chairmen of a number of cities and districts of the country

This morning the President of the country Emomali Rahmon heard the telephone reports of the chairmen of cities and districts of Khujand, Qairoqqum, Chkalov, Taboshar, Nurek, Jabbor Rasulov, Jirgatol, Tavildara, Tojikobod, Rasht, Nurobod.
During the report of chairmen of cities of Khujand, Qairoqqum, Chkalov, Taboshar and Nurek the focus was made on the fulfillment of state budget in the first quarter of current year, ensuring round-the-clock activities of industrial enterprises, construction of new production enterprises and creation of additional jobs, expansion of beatification and improvement works, reconstruction of automobile roads and enhancement of social service.
The chairmen of districts of Jabbor Rasulov, Jirgatol, Tavildara, Tojikobod, Rasht and Nurobod reported mostly on the acceleration of spring sowing, erection of new gardens and reconstruction of the old ones, the development of potato growing sphere.
According to instructions given to chairmen of districts of Jirgatol, Tavildara, Tojikobod, Rasht and Nurobod, this year the area of potato sowing must increase for 2 thousand hectares in these districts and this will allow additionally providing 4 thousand people with jobs.
In accordance with instructions and orders of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon, this year the growth of potato in Tajikistan must increase up to more than 1 million tons.
The chairmen of mountainous cities and districts were also given concrete instructions on the prevention of threats of floods, avalanches and other natural disasters.
