In Konya the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Mevlana University and met with its professors and students.

At the beginning of the meeting the decision by the Scientific Board of the Mevlana University has been read about decorating Emomali Rahmon with the degree of Honorary Doctor of this authoritative scientific and educational institution in the sphere of international relations. The President was handed the certificate of this honorary degree.

The Head of State of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude for such appreciation and stated that he will further take efforts for strengthening and enhancing relations between Tajikistan and Turkey, including in the sectors of science, education and culture.
