Today the working visit of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon to Sughd Region continued in Khujand City.
Two new manufacturing workshops, constructed by local entrepreneur Abdukhalil Rahimov, have been put into operation in one of the production complexes of industrial zone of eastern part of Khujand City with the participation of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon and thus the number of its workshops has reached 8. It was expressed satisfaction that different workshops of this complex have employed over 200 persons permanently.
At first, the second sewing workshop of this industrial complex has been put into exploitation, where 100 women and girls will be provided with permanent jobs. Here mainly school uniforms, jean trousers for children, women and men will be sewn.
The Head of State Emomali Rahmon also visited the previous weaving shed of this complex which has been specializing for sewing of kimono and other types of sports clothing, and highly commended its work.
It was informed that in two weaving workshops of this complex over 80 thousand of jeans, sports and school clothing are being produced annually.
The President of the country Emomali Rahmon, taking into account a great need in cotton clothing in domestic market and abroad, recommended to the leadership of the workshop to construct one more weaving shed with 100 working places available.
During the visit to workshop for production of carton boxes it was in particular noted that here more than 120 thousand boxes are produced annually with different design and dimensions for packing of fruits, vegetables, other types of foods. These boxes are produced with use of raw natural materials without application of chemical substances.
In another workshop of the enterprise the production of foam plastic and big plastic dishes has been set up. It was informed that these types of productions since now were fully imported from abroad.
In this industrial complex another workshop for production of paper has been officially put into operation with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon. It was stressed with satisfaction that this is the first enterprise for production of paper in Tajikistan.
As it was noted, over 50 tons of paper is being produced in this workshop per day.
