In Kuwait, capital city of the State of Kuwait, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with the Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Abdulwahab Al-Bader in the margins of Summit of Head of States of Asia Cooperation Dialogue.

The issues of cooperation of Tajikistan with this authoritative Kuwaiti institution have been considered at the meeting.

It was noted with satisfaction that over 11 years of cooperation many infrastructure projects in Tajikistan have been realized through investment by this Fund, which has mainly invested through the Islamic Development Bank, Asian Development Bank and other financial institutions.

Upon a constructive conversation both sides have agreed to further establish direct relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

According to Abdulwahab Al-Bader, the Fund is ready to directly invest into infrastructure projects proposed by Tajikistan.
