Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon got familiarized with the course of construction, decoration and equipment of National Museum of Tajikistan and Cultural and Recreation Centre Somoniyon.

During the acquaintance with the course of equipment and decoration of this edifice, which is composed of numerous special halls and rooms for reservation of rare historical and cultural items, it was ordered to the field responsible on their adjustment to technical and technological requirements and correct placement of exhibits. It was highlighted that for this important cause the best scientists and specialists, teachers and students of history and cultural science should be involved. It was noted that the museum consists of halls of different periods of past and present history of Tajik people and rare cultural items, as well as it is ensured by all necessary conditions for protection and preservation of these items.

From here the President Emomali Rahmon visited the Cultural and Recreation Centre Somoniyon, located along with the 5-star Hyatt hotel and Youth Lake, to get familiarized with the course of construction and equipment works.

As it was noted, the main building of the centre is composed of two underground floor and three floors on the soil. The height of its dome is 38 meters.

The centre includes 12 small and big halls, as well as it can render service to 2 thousand persons/clients at the same time.
