Today, the solemn gathering took place in theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Sadriddin Aini on the occasion of the State Language Day of Tajikistan with the participation of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.
The Head of State Emomali Rahmon during his speech firstly congratulated the audience and the Tajik people on the next anniversary of Language Day, which has been celebrated since 2009 on 5 October, as well as called the state language as a supreme national value and its development as one of the important tasks of all state and public structures.
President Emomali Rahmon, referring to historic old-centuries role of the Tajik language as an official state language and language of communication between the different ethnicities in the wide territory of Maverannahr and Khurasan, exhorted the inheritors of today and future of this powerful language for protection of its pureness and comprehensive enhancement and improvement as a language of state management, culture, science and modern technology.
The observance of rules, norms and grammar of state language was stressed particularly for the workers of periodic media, radio, television, publishing houses, teachers and instructors of educational and preschool facilities, as well as for parents in the education of their children.
The Head of State Emomali Rahmon, with reference to his fulfilled instructions on the development of Programme for development of state language of Tajikistan for 2012-2016, Rules of Grammar of Tajik language and Tajik language Grammar Dictionary put new instructions and assignments before the relevant responsible state structures.
It was in particular ordered that necessary funds be allocated for the publication of Tajik Language Grammar Dictionary.
