On October 27, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

During the work of the meeting, the draft decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the state budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024" and the indicators of the state budget for the years 2025-2026 were discussed.

The proposed draft of the state budget for the next year was developed in order to implement the socio-economic policy of the state in the direction of ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy, reducing the impact of negative external factors on it, developing real and infrastructural industries, raising the standard of living and social protection of the population.

The President emphasized that coordination and balanced implementation of macroeconomic, budget, tax and monetary policy is important for achieving the goals of the Government of the country.

In this regard, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon instructed the ministries and departments, local executive bodies of state power and other relevant structures of the country to take a number of specific measures to implement the country's macroeconomic indicators for the medium term, the state budget indicators for 2024 and its prospects for 2025-2026.

In particular, the implementation of programs and plans adopted by the Government of the country should be ensured in a timely, complete and qualitative manner, in order to achieve strategic goals and the implementation of important state tasks, the implementation of the main macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2026 should be ensured, and the effective and targeted use of funds foreseen in the planned state budget should be observed.

On the first issue and on the draft State External Borrowing Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024 and the outlook of its indicators for 2025-2026, the report of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Faiziddin Kahhorzoda was heard.

At the meeting of the Government of the country, after discussion the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the state budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024" and the indicators of the state budget for 2025-2026 and On the draft of the State External Borrowing Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024 and the perspective of its indicators for 2025-2026 were approved and submitted for consideration to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Then, during the work of the assembly, a number of draft laws and state programs, including the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Regulatory Legal Acts", on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Insurance Activities", On the State Program for the Development of the Logistics System in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2028 and On the State Program for the Development of Arts of Shashmaqom, Falak and the Traditional "Master-Apprentice" School in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2028 were discussed.

At the end of the work of the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon gave specific instructions to the Government of the country, the leadership of the ministries and state agencies, the executive bodies of state power of regions and cities and districts to fulfill the assignments of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, to carry out the fall and winter campaign of 2023-2024 at the necessary level, to implement the plan of autumn planting, to use agricultural land effectively, to have sufficient food, fuel, and follow up the expansion of development and creative plans in order to welcome the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
