On July 16, as part of his working trip to Khovaling district of Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, visited the house of a local resident Ilhom Odinaev and got familiar with the culture of land use on his personal plot.
The Odinaev family is considered exemplary in Khovaling district; hardworking children have grown up in it, full of a sense of self-awareness and self-knowledge. The household plot of Ilhom Odinaev is 8 acres. Agricultural crops are planted on 4 acres of land, mainly vegetables and potatoes. Fruit trees are also grown on this site - apple, cherry, apricot, peach, sweet cherry, plum, walnut, pear, persimmon and grapes.
In addition to the household plot, Ilhom Odinaev has at his disposal a subsidiary plot of 15 acres from the presidential lands. Potatoes, vegetables and other types of crops are also planted there. These days in the Khovaling district, the season for harvesting vegetables and fruits continues. The Odinaev family is collectively engaged in the production of products, including the preparation of jams, pickles and fruit and vegetable juices.
In the course of examining the living conditions of this family, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was briefed that the necessary amount of such products as wheat, legumes, fruits, flour, oil, rice and so on is stored in the warehouses of this family. Also, various juices, sweets and pickles are prepared in 300 containers, which is enough for the next two years.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, presented the members of the Odinaev family with a package of books and encouraged them to read and get familiar with the history and high culture of the Tajik nation. The Head of State gave a worthy assessment of the activities of Ilhom Odinaev family in the direction of the culture of land use and called it worthy of an example.
