The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which reads, in particular:

“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

It is with sorrow and grief that I have received the news about the tragic flood in Kuban, which led to the numerous human casualties and great destructions.

We in Tajikistan share the pain of the friendly people of Russia in connection with the death of people and destructive consequences of natural disaster.

On behalf of the Tajik people and personally I ask you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, to convey my profound condolences to the relatives of the dead, as well as wishes of the soonest recovery to all casualties”.
