Congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson

Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson.

The message reads, in particular:

“I am grateful to congratulate you on your election as the Leader of the Conservative Party and appointment on the high position as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We consider deepening and straightening cooperation in all spheres of mutual interests with the United Kingdom as the important direction of our foreign policy.

I hope that during your term as the Prime Minister with the joint efforts of both states our partnership will cover new aspects of cooperation.

Tajikistan is ready to make necessary steps to further develop relations with the United Kingdom in different levels.

Taking this opportunity, Your Excellency, I wish you good health and new successes on your important duties and to the friendly people of the United Kingdom peace and prosperity”.
