This morning the President of the country Emomali Rahmon went to the polygon Choruqdaron of Sughd region to observe the course of joint military exercise of Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.

Today here the final part of joint military exercise of military units of the Armed Forces and Special Forces of SCO member states will take place. More than 2,5 thousand soldiers, over 300 units of heavy armored machinery and 50 military helicopters and aircrafts have gathered for participation in this exercise.

It should be mentioned that such large-scale military exercise of the SCO member states is being held for the first time in Tajikistan.
