In the second half of the day in Beijing the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held meetings with the leadership of a number of authoritative companies of the People’s Republic of China.

At the meeting with the Chairman of Board of Directors of Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) Zhang Xin the issues of construction and reconstruction of a number of energy facilities in Tajikistan have been reviewed.

Much attention has been paid to the construction of Obi garm – Dushanbe 500 kV power transmission line and heating plant Dushanbe-2.

It was stressed that the project of construction of Obi garm – Dushanbe 500 kV power transmission line will be submitted after the thorough study of government commission of Tajikistan for funding and beginning of implementation.

The construction of Dushanbe-2 heating plant will be accelerated according to the arrangements reached at the high level and will be finished during the next year.

During the talk with the Chairman of Board of Directors of Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) the issues of cooperation in the sphere of communication and television and radio communication have been reviewed.

It was stressed that such cooperation is very important for keeping pace with world’s advanced equipment and technology development and realization of electronic government in Tajikistan.

At the meeting with Chairman of Henan Jinjiang Silverseed Li Chao the issues of cooperation in field-husbandry sector was discussed.

At the meeting with Director-General of China Road and Bridge Corporation Wen Gan the issues related to effective realization of road-building projects in Tajikistan have been considered.

The Head of State Emomali Rahmon highly evaluated the activities of this company in construction and reconstruction of automobile roads of Tajikistan, such as Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanak with Shahristan tunnel, Dushanbe-Danghara part of the highway Dushanbe-Kulob-Khorugh-Qaroqurum with Chormaghzak tunnel and expressed confidence that the highway Dushanbe-Tursunzoda will also be reconstructed with high quality and rapidly at the target date.
