In Beijing the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) of China Li Zhogu.
During the talk a remarkable role of the bank in economic and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and China was highlighted, as it has allocated more than 900 million USD of long-term preferential credits for implementation of great infrastructure projects in the domains of transport, energy, industry, etc.
With reference to new agreements at the level of supreme leadership of both countries it was accentuated that China’s Eximbank will further invest such projects in Tajikistan.
Agreement on preferential credits related to project of reconstruction of the third part of the first phase of the automobile road Dushanbe-Kulob-Khorugh-Kulma between the Government of Tajikistan and Eximbank of China has been signed at the end of the meeting.
According to the Agreement, the means of 50, 54 million USD of long-term preferential credits will be allocated.
