Acquaintance with productive activity of Zijin Company

This morning the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Shanhan city of Fujian province of China in order to get acquainted with productive activity of Zijin Company in golden and copper fields.

In the People’s Square of Shanhan during a solemn ceremony its mayor Se Haibo announced Tajik President Emomali Rahmon “an honorary citizen” of this city and handed him its “Golden key” and a diploma of honorary citizenship. The mayor of Shanhan highly evaluated the role of Emomali Rahmon in strengthening mutually beneficial ties between Tajikistan and China and called his recognition as “an honorary citizen” of this city as his and its dwellers’ pride.

The Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed his thankfulness for high appreciation to the leadership and dwellers of Shanhan and stated: “awareness of good neighborly relationships and friendship between our peoples originate from ancient times – the period of Great Silk Road, therefore the roots of our friendship are robust”.

“In the twenty-first century together with China we address the issues of joint development, strengthen our old friendship and expand our cooperation”, - stressed Emomali Rahmon.
