Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon received the Vice-President of the World Bank on Europe and Central Asia Filipp Le Ueru.
The issues of wide-ranging cooperation between Tajikistan and this financial world institution have been discussed at the meeting.
Filipp Le Ueru expressed satisfaction over the Regional Conference on Migration in Dushanbe which is the goal of his visit to Tajikistan and highlighted that the World Bank is ready to increase its assistance in improvement of migration process, including organization of professional development courses for potential migrants.
Review of effective ways for support of socio-economic development of Tajikistan by the World Bank has been among the main subjects of the talks.
Both sides stressed their firm interest in enhancement of cooperation, particularly in implementation of regional infrastructure projects.
