We are deeply shocked by the news of a killing and injuring of innocent civilians as a result of a deadly blast at a St. Petersburg metro station.

With a sense of outrage, we strongly condemn this inhuman act and underline once again the necessity of taking our joint efforts to eradicate the terrible evil of our century - terrorism.

Please, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, convey my condolences to the families and friends of those killed.

We wish all the injured a speedy recovery."
