Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, which reads as follows:

"Your Excellency,

It was with deep shock and sadness that I learned about the tragic news of the death of dozens and a large number of casualties among the civilians of the friendly Egypt over the terrible explosion near the Coptic Cathedral in Cairo.

We strongly condemn this inhumane act of devilish forces and reaffirm our solidarity with the regional and international efforts to eradicate terrorism and extremism.

Expressing deep condolences and words of sympathy to relatives of the victims, I wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
