It was with deep shock and sadness that I learned about a terrible attack, which occurred in Pakistan's Quetta city, and left dozens of innocent people dead and injured.

Tajikistan strongly condemns the terrible terror attack in Quetta and once again emphasizes an urgent need to strengthen a tough fight with any manifestation of terrorism and extremism at various levels.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Tajikistan, and on my own behalf, I convey deepest condolences to the families of victims, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured".
