Address by the President of the country to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan has commenced in “Kokhi Somon” Palace of the residence of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The key directions of internal and foreign policy of Tajikistan will be outlined in this address.

According to Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan the address of the President of the country will be conveyed to Parliament at the joint session of Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

To this end, the leadership of Parliament, members of Majlisi milli and deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan reviewed the regulations of commencement of the third joint session of Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan (fourth convocation) in the big hall of the building of Majlisi Oli and left for “Kokhi Somon” Palace of the residence of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to listen to the address of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon. In this connection, the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the country, state counselors of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and functionaries of the Executive Office of the Head of State, leaders of ministries and state committees, departments under the President and the Government of the country, central court organs and other institutions for maintenance of law and order, Academy of Sciences, higher education institutions, chairmen of regions, cities and districts, centers for implementation of investment projects, members of Social Council, Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, as well as deputies of a number of social, political and creative unions, leaders of republican enterprises and institutions, banks, private authoritative and active companies, representatives of diplomatic corps, mass media and others, in total 1200 persons have gathered in the hall.
