Today, a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan took place under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the country Emomali Rahmon.

At the beginning of the meeting, a resolution on the measures for the implementation of the Law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016" has been adopted.

The State program of investments for the years 2016-2020 has been approved.

The meeting also approved and submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli forecast of key macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2017 and its main parameters for 2018-2019.

It approved and submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan".

In addition, drafts of a number of other laws on introducing amendments and additions to the Criminal Code, Customs Code, Tax Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, Code of Administrative Offences, the laws "On Education", "On the National Security Bodies", "On the system of criminal punishment", "On the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption", "On parental responsibility for training and education of children", "On Telecommunications" and "On the periodical press and other media" have been approved and submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli.

Two conclusions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft of the Law "On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Public Finances" and the draft of the Law "On Security" have been approved and submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli.

The State Program for Development of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences for 2016-2020, Program of reform of the water sector of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2025, Program of development of breeding industry and thoroughbred animals in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2020, Program of development of vocational guidance in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2020, Program for developing of renewable energy and construction of small hydropower plants for 2016-2020, Program of socio-economic development of the city of Nurek for 2016-2020, Program of socio-economic development of the Kubodiyon district for 2016-2020, Program of socio-economic development of Ishkashim district for 2016-2020 and the general plan of Yovon district of Khatlon region.

At the end of the meeting, President Emomali Rahmon, drawing attention to the issues related to summing up the year 2015 and the elaboration of plans for 2016, as well as fire safety and other adverse events in the New Year's Eve, has set specific tasks before the responsible persons.
