Participation in the COP21 UN Conference on Climate in Paris

The COP21 UN Conference on climate began in the French capital, Paris.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will take part and deliver a speech at the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21).

As well, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and other heads of state, heads of International Organizations participating in the conference were welcomed by the French President Francois Hollande.

The conference is attended by heads of more than 150 countries. The 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) is to be held in Paris from 30 November to 11 December.

The conference agenda included issues of raising the temperature of the air, reducing the amount of greenhouse gases, to assist developing countries and other climatic problems.
