President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon today, having cut the symbolic ribbon, officially gave start to operation of substations «Shahrinav» and «Khonakoh» in Hissar district.

It should be noted that in order to prevent loss of power and its regulation the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly with foreign investors implements major projects. Within the project for the sum of 349 million USD the construction of the second phase of «Dushanbe CHP-2», substations «Shahrinav» and «Khonakoh» and 110 kW of a power transmission line in the Hissar district is implemented.

The aim of implementation of projects of substations «Shahrinav» and «Khonakoh» and 110 kW of a power transmission line in the Hissar district is to reduce the load of previous substations.

Besides, realization of the second stage of «Dushanbe CHP-2» is directed to reliable power and heat supply of Dushanbe city, and in the future the agro-industrial potential of Dushanbe city and districts of republican subordination will be increased. It will also provide supply of reliable electricity to various industrial enterprises.

This project is implemented on the basis of fruitful cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Chinese TBEA company. At the implementation of energy projects of the republic more than 100 local residents made their contribution together with representatives of the Chinese TBEA company.

The cost of projects of 3 completed objects is 22.5 million USD, and the main or power equipment, as well as equipment for the protection and management is made in China.

This equipment has a number of advantages, including simplicity, safety, durability and energy efficiency in the course of exploitation, the ability to work for years without major repairs that at times reduces the cost of repair works. All equipment are controlled by computer, in the event of an accident in the supply of electricity, it is detected and eliminated in the shortest possible time.

The main energy distribution equipment, HV cables of substations «Shahrinav» and «Khonakoh», as well as the protective and control equipment passed through technical expertise.

In addition, for supply and connection of substations of Hissar district within the project carried out a power transmission line at a distance of 10.8 km. 

Substations «Shahrinav» and «Khonakoh» in the Hissar district play an important role in the supply and preventing the loss of electricity and are worthy gift of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the 3000th anniversary of Hissar.
