Telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko

President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

President Emomali Rahmon once more sincerely congratulated Alexander Lukashenko with his convincing victory in Belarus’ presidential election, and called his re-election to the presidency as a sign of confidence of the people of the country in his policies.

Emomali Rahmon noted that willingly took this news and expressed his confidence in further development and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus in the interests of the two friendly and fraternal peoples.

The two leaders also had a constructive discussion on ways of practical implementation of bilateral and multilateral plans and programs in Tajikistan and Belarus, as well as other relevant issues.
